Anthropic reported $4.6 billion in revenue and an $8.06 billion operating loss in 2025, according to a prospectus for a future initial public offering obtained by Reuters. The company spent $7.33 billion on computing and infrastructure during the period, more than three times its 2024 spending, while revenue grew about twelvefold. According to Reuters, the company has also taken on $518 billion in future commitments to cloud and infrastructure providers.
The prospectus says about 25% of Anthropic’s 2025 revenue came from just two customers, and many corporate buyers are not tied to long-term contracts.
